A mold is a process equipment that shapes (forms) a material into articles and articles having a specific shape and size. Including: die, plastic mold, die-casting mold, forging die, powder metallurgy die, drawing die, extrusion die, roll die, glass die, rubber die, ceramic die, casting die and so on.
Mold classification and definition
die
A metal, non-metal sheet or profile is separated, shaped or joined under pressure to form a mold for the article or article. Including: punching die, drawing die, bending die, progressive die, precision die, trimming die, etc.
Plastic mold
The molten plastic raw material is filled into the cavity under the action of pressure, and is solidified into a mold for the product and the workpiece. Including: injection mold, compression mold, injection mold, extrusion mold, blow mold, thermoforming mold, foaming mold, and the like.
Die casting mold
The liquid metal is quickly filled into the cavity under pressure and cooled and solidified into a mold for the workpiece.
Forging die
The metal blank is formed into a mold for the blank and the workpiece under the action of pressure. Including: hammer forging die, mechanical press forging die, screw press forging die, hydraulic press forging die, flat forging die, etc.
Powder metallurgy mold
The metal or non-metal powder is formed into a mold of a blank or a workpiece by a powder metallurgy process. Including: pressing die, isostatic pressing die, injection die, extrusion die, shaping die, and the like.
Drawing die
The metal blank is deformed by a transverse force by a transverse force to be a mold for a product such as a bar, a wire, a wire, a profile, a part, or the like. Including: steel drawing die, carbide drawing die, diamond drawing die, diamond coating drawing die, ceramic drawing die, etc.
Extrusion die
The metal blank is plastically deformed under the action of a pressing force to form a profile or a product, and a mold for the workpiece. Including: anti-extrusion die, positive extrusion die, positive and negative extrusion die, radial extrusion die, extrusion composite die.
Roller die
A metal mold or a non-metal sheet, a profile, or a bar is separated, formed, compounded, calibrated, joined, or transferred into a roll-shaped mold of a product or article under rotational pressure. Including: roll die, roll bending die, etc.
Glass mold
The glass raw material is molded into a mold for making a mouth and a part. Including: bottle mold, dish mold, thermoforming mold, drawing mold, pressing mold, blowing mold, centrifugal mold, calendering mold, and the like.
Rubber mold
A mold for molding a rubber raw material into a product or a part. Including: vulcanized rubber mold, thermoplastic rubber mold, liquid rubber mold, latex mold, compression mold, injection mold, extrusion mold, tire mold, tire molding drum mold, and the like.
Ceramic mold
A ceramic material is formed into a mold for a blank or a product. Including: a moldable mold, a roll forming mold, an extrusion molding die, a grouting mold, a press molding die, an isostatic pressing die, and the like.
Casting mold
Forming a liquid metal into a mold for a part or mold. Including: metal casting mold, wood casting mold, sand casting mold, sand core casting mold, wax casting mold and so on.
